Uses and Benefits
Advil Arthritis Pain temporarily relieves inflammation-related arthritis pain. It can also be used for muscle aches, joint and body pain, backache, sprains, strains, menstrual pain, dental pain, headaches, migraine pain, discomfort associated with colds or flu, and fever.
This medicine relieves symptoms temporarily; it does not treat the underlying cause of arthritis.
How to Use
Adults and children 12 years and older should take one Liqui-Gel every six to eight hours as needed. Do not take more than three Liqui-Gels within 24 hours unless directed by a doctor.
Do not use for longer than five days for pain or three days for fever without consulting a doctor. If stomach upset occurs, take the medicine with food or milk.
Children under 12 should use an age-appropriate children’s product and should not take Advil Arthritis Pain.
Caution
Keep out of reach of children. This package contains enough medicine to seriously harm a child.
Warning
Do not take Advil if taking daily low-dose acetylsalicylic acid (ASA, 81 Ð 325 mg), without talking to a doctor or pharmacist. Do not use with ASA, other ibuprofen or pain relief drugs, or if allergic to ibuprofen, ASA, salicylates, anti-inflammatory drugs or any of the listed ingredients.
